Why I Love Writing

Writing is an art that forms a bridge between an individual’s emotions and whoever wishes to listen.

I never wanted to become a writer. In school, I thought English literature was boring, and I found writing to be generally tiresome and a total drag. In reality, I was always a writer, merely misled by the education system and my own ignorance. Only after years of travel, experiences, successes, and failures did I change my definition of writing.

Born to an Italian mother and a German father, I grew up in the cultural melting pot of South London, where my exposure to humanity's dynamism began. Travelling the world, meeting its people, and traversing the rocky terrains of life have only intensified my curiosity and admiration for humanity and our planet.

I have travelled to 35 countries, learnt languages, seen breathtaking landscapes, encountered fascinating people, immersed myself in various cultures, and navigated all of life's emotions. However, I lacked the means to express them. The emotional void caused by my inability to share my experiences created a lingering dissatisfaction. When I started to place my thoughts on paper, I felt fulfilled and knew writing was my calling.
